Greetings from Dubai

This week’s alumnus, although resides miles away from his native country, wakes up every morning and listens to one of Lebanon’s most beautiful voices as he’s married to Lebanon’s highly respected singer Julia Boutros :-)

Elias Bou Saab, class of 1987, went to London after his graduation from SJS to achieve his BA in Marketing from The American College and then an MA in International Relations from Boston University. Elias moved back to London to work for five years at The American College as Director of International Admissions. In 1995, he moved to the Gulf to establish The American University in Dubai. In his capacity of Executive Vice President and Director of Admissions, Elias is in charge of planning and executing all AUD's establishment and growth. He has been involved in planning most of AUD's activities. Of the recent projects he completed were establishing an Engineering School in collaboration with Georgia Tech (Georgia Institute of Technology) and establishing a partnership with Former President Bill Clinton where his Presidential Foundation agreed to send the university 40 students each year in order to study in Dubai and learn about the country’s culture. One thing Elias cherishes the most is getting married at the SJS Church back in 1995. Julia and Elias have two handsome boys, Samer (6 years) and Tarek (8 months).
