Publicis Groupe is the world's 4th largest communications group and ranks no. 1 in Europe and no. 3 in the US according to Advertising Age with total revenues of $ 2.7bn. Publicis is the world leader in media buying and consultancy. Present in 229 cities in 109 countries with 35700 employees, it is structured around three core businesses: advertising, media buying and consultancy in addition to marketing services. Publicis Groupe is a growing firm, which has forced its way into the top ranks of the world's leading marketing organizations especially after the group's acquisition of Saatchi & Saatchi in 2000. Even more impressive was the agreed takeover of Bcom3 two years later, which gave the French group a strong position in both the US and Japanese markets. Publicis is actually a worthy competitor to established giants such as Interpublic, WPP and Omnicom. Albert Sfeir, an SJS Alumnus, who graduated in 1991 and studied engineering is holds a position in Publicis Groupe (France).
