“Through the years, I have always tried to keep in contact with few of my high school friends. The bond that we developed through those years is extremely difficult to break. I am still proud to say that I have experienced those early years at St. Joseph High School. This pride grows day by day as I come across other alumni and discover the same feelings. Almost all of them have done extremely well in their careers. We certainly were blessed to have experienced one of the best high school education systems that any person can dream of. I always recommend friends to place their children at SJS and I will definitely enroll my future kids to be. Now that we have the SJS Alumni web site, my dream of having a class reunion is going to come true. I will make every effort to attend an alumni gathering for my class mates. Salim Mansour, Class of 1989, joined after his graduation from SJS, the University of Balamand in Tripoli then shifted after one year to Notre Dame University - Louaize. In 1995, Salim achieved a BS in Marketing and joined Intermedic as a Sales Representative for Johnson & Johnson’s Medical Division. After four years with Intermedic, Salim left Lebanon to work as an Account Manager for BUPA in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. BUPA is a British health insurance company providing corporate employees with medical insurance. In 2000, after two years with the company, Salim got promoted to Senior Account Manager and later to Regional Manager for Riyadh. Salim was responsible for managing the Riyadh Sales Office and making sure company targets were achieved. In May 2003, after the attack and bombing of Al Hamra compound where Salim resided, he moved to Al Khobar to handle the company’s Al Khobar and Riyadh offices.

Salim is married to charming Lebanese Cedra. Cedra and Salim are expecting a baby boy mid January 2004 :-)
