After graduating from SJS in 1986, Jean-Paul studied Civil Engineering at AUB and got a Masters degree in Construction Management (1991). He left Lebanon and has been working abroad, in Kuwait & UAE, for the last 13 years.
He got married to his charming wife, Roula, on 9 September 2001, 2 days before 9/11 ! Jean-Paul and Roula had their first baby girl, Stephanie, on 26 April 2004.
Jean-Paul is currently working with Hill Int'l as the Sr. Projects Coordinator for "The Palm Island" project in Dubai, the Eigth wonder of the world! (http://www.palmsales.ca/palm/index.html ) They completed reclamation of the island which is in the shape of a palm tree (5x6 km), and on which they’re managing the construction of 40 Hotels, 2,000 Villas, 20 Residential Apartments, Atlantis City Water Park (the biggest in the world), in addition to all the related infrastructure (11 Bridges, 3 tunnels, roads, & utility plants). With over 30 contractors, and 25,000 labor-force, the plan is to complete the major project components by December 2005 !
