Rindala Sawaya
After her graduation from SJS in 1986, Rindala Sawaya studied to become a teacher like her mom and grandfather; who by the way both taught at SJS for a number of years. In fact her mom still teaches at SJS. She then taught preschool at IC Ain Aar for 10 years before marrying the love of her life Jalal Wehbeh, an SJS graduate as well. In 1999, Rindala moved to California where she taught at an international preschool at Stanford University. Currently, she’s a stay-at-home mom with the exception of a few parenting classes she gives in the evenings. Rindala and Jalal have 2 wonderful kids: Daniel who is almost 4 and Hannah who is 16 months old.
SJS has been part of Rindala’s childhood, teen years and married life. Rindala says: “There are quite a few of SJS graduates in our area that we meet often, and whatever the occasion is we end up talking about the great memories we had at SJS.”
