Michel Nassar

Michel Nassar graduated from SJS in 1988. At SJS, he was famous for his drawings and paintings and he always collected the first prizes whenever there was a talent show or any competition in those two fields… In 1992, Michel got his Bachelor degree in Business Economy from Notre Dame University. Immediately after that, he started working with Bou Khalil Group, owners of Hypermarket and Supermarkets Bou Khalil in Lebanon. With them, Michel moved through several high level positions, from inventory manager to store manager. From 2002 till 2004, Michel worked for Fahed supermarket – Jounieh as production manager. Meanwhile, on the personal level, Michel got married on the 7th of May 2000 to his “beloved, most beautiful and respectable lady”, Ragia Abi Karam. On the 29th of January 2002, God gave Ragia and Michel the gift that all mankind might dream of. HE gave them two beautiful healthy children; twins - a boy and a girl, ANGELA and TOUFIC. In 2004, Michel’s working career in Lebanon ended and on May 6th 2004 he and his family immigrated to Montreal, Canada. Two weeks after his arrival to Canada, Michel started work. He says: “Canada is a country where if one can work 24/7, one can find work very easily. Of course a person has to have the willingness and the ability…” For the first three months, Michel worked with for an Insurance company - “Croix Blue “. After that, he started his own business in partnership with one of his relatives in Montreal. They got their first Esso gas station in November 2004, and thank God had great success in this business. They also won first prize in excellence and best customer experience for the year 2004. In July 2005, and given the great success of the first Esso experience, the second Esso site came to life – also in Montreal. This second site was a brand new built, usually assigned for people who have more than ten years in the business. In June 2006, a third site was assigned to their company, which was also a large and beautiful site in Central Montreal. In November 2006, Michel was assigned by “ESSO IMPERIAL OIL“, which is part of “ EXXON MOBILE international “, as a peer coach for the Greater Montreal Area.
