Karl Naufal
Karl Naufal graduated from Saint Joseph School in 1986. He then enrolled at the American University of Beirut and applied to a university in the USA. In 1989, Karl left Lebanon to Philadelphia where he graduated with a BS in Economics in 1991.
That same year, he moved to Los Angeles and was hired by an import export firm called Tredex as a marketing Analyst.
In 1998, Karl established his own company called Intertrade ( www.intertradeinc.com) trading in computer related hardware as well as consumer electronics.
On the personal level, he got married to a lovely Swiss girl and they now have a baby girl called Kayla who was born on December 23rd, 2004.
In 2005, Karl visited Lebanon after an absence of 15 years! He says: “I had a great time there catching up and seeing family and friends. One of the highlights of my journey back was to visit SJS and reminisce of the good old days I had there. It was such a special time in my life and it meant a lot to go back and visit…”
Karl now resides with his family in Beverly hills, California and he is looking forward to his next trip to Lebanon again, hopefully very soon
Karl concludes: “I miss Lebanon very much as it is a very special place for me and holds many good memories...”
