Distinguished Guests
Moments like this are very special in our lives
They mark milestones in our journey towards serving God and his Church
Yes ... We owe it to Saint Joseph
The School did a lot in our lives
It changed us, it molded lots of our today’s beliefs and concepts, and it added building blocks.
This is an opportunity to say a big “Thank You” to Toni
What a great man you are Toni
Your greatness is like your Master’s
It’s in your humility, soft heartedness, and the spirit of giving you have.
Thanks to a great team you were leading in the last few years... Thanks for a job well done ! ! !
Secondary Three students.... Graduating Class of 2008
May I give you an advice???
With SJS Alumni Association, take the short cut
When we were your age, little awareness we had about the Alumni Association
It took us few years to realize that ... Hey it exists
Don’t wait... Join it... Body and Soul
Saint-Joseph_has already earned our servant hood
Bishop Youssef.. . That’s how I like to call you Sayyidna Youssef
To say “Thank You” for the piece of land is an understatement
We all here thank you for your prayer support
This is what counts for us
And certainly thank you for all the rest... The land... The effort... and the trust
We surely love you... And surely feel proud we’re your sons and daughters
To SJS, our Alma Mater, we say tonight:
To serve you is by far more our honor than it is yours
What a pride you gave us to be your product
Can you believe it that those of us who are decades old products of SJS were and are a twenty first century customized product?
Yes we are still in demand on the market ! ! ! !
SJS made us learn how to learn
It equipped us with life long skills
This is what it did to us and in us...
It married feelings to mind,
Mixed leadership with a serving attitude
And ....
Helped us balance all through our lives between authority and responsibility.
Father Richard
As we will serve the School responsibly independent,
We pledge to serve it freely committed to its vision, mission, and values,
And wholeheartedly immersed in trying to meet its needs, and eliminate its worries
We will never be two different things
We will always be “two hearts that beat as one”
Two thousand years ago, Andrew the disciple called Saint Peter, a fisherman then, telling him “Come and See”
He lead him to Jesus
Tonight we pledge to go after our fellow alumnus to tell them:
“Come and See”... Come and see how beautiful and honoring it is to serve Saint Joseph.
Thank you all God bless SJS
